After 4 months of pain and swelling on my right knee the decision was made by my orthopedic surgeon Mr. E. Loquet to operate on it. So in I went to the Day Clinic on Monday 13th Feb; just a day after my birthday to be operated on. I was operated under general anesthesy and woke up with 2 holes in my knee which with the stitches in, look just like 2 eyes. And what with the bruising around my knee it looks like I've got 2 black eyes

It is still, 3 days later rather difficult to walk and I only hope that I can show Checkhov in Gent in 10 days time, if not I can only hope that he will show nicely for my daughter Penny. When he was a pup he showed beautifully for her but since he has become an adult dog he's a mummy's boy and doesn't like showing for others.
