Kiara was found hiding behind a hole in wall with some other cats in a garage in Brussels. The dubious owners of the garage got in touch with a rescue organisation and some of the cats were caught and consequently saved, of which Kiara was one. This was in 2001 and she was thought to have been approximately 3 or 4 years old then making her now roughly 13 -14 years old now. She is a lovely and very loving old lady.
Nala, our Norwegian Forest cat was going to be thrown out on to the street at the tender age of 18 months when her Russian owners became bored with her. This was in April 2008. Nala loves being combed. She also is a very loving and gentle cat and it is an honour to share our home with her.
Delia or to be precise Tarascoon's Delia, is the "Madhatter" of the family. She is always doing something mischievous. She is a "polydactyl" Maine Coon, polydactyl means she has more toes on each paw than the norm, in her case 6 toes per paw giving the impression that she is wearing boxing gloves. Again she is a very sweet and loving cat and at 4 years of age the baby of the 3 of them.
